Getting the hang of the fur and sky plugins for Lightwave as well as venturing into more complex models (the droid and the terrains). Used weight maps for the terrains and all textures are procedurals and gradients (no images other than the weightmap image). Also getting a feel for parenting individual pieces of the model and setting pivot points to achieve easy positioning of the droid.
